Liquor Licenses

  • Complete a Liquor License Application (PDF) and return it to the City Clerk’s Office with the appropriate payment.
  • For any new liquor license managing officers to the City of Crestwood, fingerprinting and a background check (run by the Missouri State Highway Patrol) is required. The Missouri State Highway Patrol will help facilitate these requirements. You may reach a representative at 573-751-3313 or visit the Missouri State Highway Patrol website.
  • Once background checks are completed, and all the paperwork has been received, the request will be presented to the Crestwood Board of Aldermen for approval. Board of Aldermen meetings is held on the second and fourth Tuesdays of most months (pending business needs and the summer schedule). New liquor business applicants should plan to be present to answer any questions from the Board.
  • After the Board of Aldermen approval has been obtained, a City of Crestwood liquor license will be issued and the applicant will be contacted. However, the applicant still must obtain liquor licenses from the State of Missouri and from St. Louis County. Obtaining these licenses is the responsibility of the applicant.
  • For any returning liquor license managing officers, to renew a liquor license with the same managing officer, please return completed paperwork to the City Clerk’s Office with a copy of the State of Missouri and the St. Louis County liquor licenses.
  • For any additional assistance, please contact the City Clerk’s Office at 314-729-4700.
