McGruff

Crestwood Night Out

This year’s Crestwood Night Out will be held on Saturday, September 10th, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

The Crestwood Night Out is a long standing traditional event sponsored annually by the Crestwood Police Department, which is held within our Crestwood neighborhoods. The Crestwood Police Department, maintains this event in effort to bring neighbors together, and strengthen community bonds so that we might better fight crime together as a community. This night is designed to heighten crime awareness and strengthen neighborhood spirit. Neighborhoods throughout Crestwood organize events such as block parties, ice cream socials, cookouts, and outdoor movie nights.

The police officers and staff of the Crestwood Police Department, along with Police Board members and your elected Board of Aldermen join in the neighborhood celebrations. The Crestwood Fire Department isn’t left out either, as they tour the neighborhood events with their fire truck. McGruff the Crime Dog is also known to make special appearances on Crestwood Night Out to help “Take a Bite Out of Crime”.
